<description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;POSITION SUMMARY:&lt;/strong&gt; The Customer Service department supports sales by building relationships through coordination of orders, order processing and regular client contact. This is NOT a call center position. You must have experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment to be considered. Experience in purchasing highly desirable. &lt;strong&gt;RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:&lt;/strong&gt; · Maintains regular contact with clients to build relationships and anticipate needs. · Receives incoming orders from clients. · Writes job specifications based on client requirements. · Performs costing and quotes of new item orders. · Plans and coordinates production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of client orders. · Resolves customer inquiries and complaints. · Verifies receipt of orders placed. · Analyzes sales orders and inventory levels to determine when orders need to be placed. · Schedules and coordinates outbound shipments, as required. ...&lt;/p&gt;
